Dear mom,
thank you for taking time out of your schedule and listening to me. I enjoyed sharing my space unit because it made me feel like I was a teacher already. My favorite part out of this experience was telling you new facts about everything I had learned about space. I hope you have a great time! When you gave me a complement I felt very proud and happy. I love you mom!

Salmon Festival

Yesterday I went to the Salmon Festival with my mom's friends family and we co-operate and we finished a puzzle in 15 minutes and I learned that the female salmon and the male salmon stay together until the baby salmon are old enough. When we were finished roaming around with my gingerbread salmon that I made we went for a walk on the trail after that we went to the pool. The water was warm and my dad thought that I still remember how to swim but I forgot. My dad gave me a lesson and it helped a little so my dad gave me a life jacket and the first life jacket I tried was a little too big for me but I swam with it for a while. The next life jacket I tried was very small but I swam with it for the rest of the time.

Then I changed to the big pool side. I had a race with dad and it was a great workout. My brother found me on the big pool and we went onto the canoe and we needed help from dad and I was the first one to get on. Me and my dad tipped the canoe and my dad said lower my head and hold the canoe as tight as you can and my dad was right and I did not fall down.

Sophia brought in her bird named Filmore. Someone asked if Filmore was a whale and Filmore nodded his head. Sophia's mother said to Filmore be big and hairy like a tarantula and Filmore was like a tarantula with wings! Filmore pooped on Justin's pants and he had to go to the bathroom and wash it off. Sophia tested us if we where listening to her last week and she asked us which bird flew out in the wild and it was corona. Someone asked how did you find her and Sophia said the only type of bird corona liked was a love bird and Sophia had a love bird named Papaya. When Sophia's bird was going to leave Filmore chirped and Sophia's mother said that Filmore wanted to stay in school because it's nice and warm.We all said good-bye to Filmore and I asked Sophia if you could ask Filmore if he was a gummy bear and Sophia said I'll tell you tomorrow. the next day Sophia said no.
